HCM City (VNA) – Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Tran VinhTuyen on December 21 received Amit Midha, President of Asia-Pacific and JapanCommercial at Dell EMC.

At the meeting, Tuyenaffirmed that HCM City and Dell EMC hold much cooperation potential, especiallyin software design and technology solutions to support HCM City’s smart city project.

The city hopes toreceive support from Dell EMC in building a smart city and will create optimal conditionsfor the corporation to study and participate in the project, he added.

Lauding HCM City’srapid development, Midha said Dell EMC is paying attention to the city’s smartcity development project.

Briefing his host onthe corporation’s strengths and experiences in building smart cities, he saidthat Dell EMC is ready to support HCM City to implement the project.

Dell EMC is one ofthe world’s leading technology corporations, specialising in technology solutionsrelated to cloud computing, database software systems, integratedinfrastructure and mobile and cyber security.-VNA
