Ho Chi Minh City’s authorities on Oct. 15 signed with the Development and Investment for Underground Space Inc. a deal on the construction of an underground multi-storeyed car park at Le Van Tam Park in the city’s central District No. 1.
The project, estimated to cost over 1.74 trillion VND (940 million USD), will be undertaken under the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) formula.
The car park will have a total floor acreage of 103,225 sq. m with eight under-ground floors. Five floors (or 70 percent of the floor space) will be reserved for parking and technical facilities and the remaining three for trading and public services.
The car park will have exits open to the future Metro network’s station and other main streets in District 1./.
