HCM City (VNA) - More than 350 companies will showcase their products at morethan 1,600 pavilions in this year’s fourth Vietbuild international exhibition at Ho Chi Minh City's Phu Tho Indoor Stadium from November 6-10.

Speakingat a recent press conference in HCM City, Nguyen Dinh Hung, Chairman of the VietbuildConstruction International Exhibition Organising Corporation, said the five-dayexhibition would have the theme ‘Housing-Architecture and Interior – ExteriorDecoration’.

Ondisplay would be electrical equipment, doors and accessories, moderntechnologies such as smart home systems and lightingtechnologies, internal and external decorative items, building materials,solar energy systems, water filters, and property projects.

Exhibitorswould also bring many new building materials, especially green materials, andinterior-exterior products to meet increasing demand and help protect theenvironment.

Theexhibitors would include 77 joint ventures between Vietnamese and foreign firmsand 43 foreign companies from 18 countries and territories, including the UK,Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the US, the Republic of Korea, Japan, andThailand.

A numberof other activities were also scheduled on the sidelines such as a businessforum and business matching.

Theexhibition would help businesses understand market demand and also offer theman opportunity to promote new products and seek technologies and partnerships./.

Vietnam's tourism sector faces labour shortage

A 2026 survey by Hoteljob.vn found that nearly 90% of tourism businesses planned to recruit. In Ho Chi Minh City alone, 89.7% of businesses were hiring, while 71.8% said recruitment was difficult or very difficult. The biggest shortages were among frontline workers, particularly in housekeeping, engineering, food service, front-office operations, and kitchens.
