This year’s flower street event, to be held from February 13-19, will be titled The Great Ambition, showcasing a modern city that still keeps its attraction.
To celebrate the year of the dog 2018, the entrance gate will be decorated with statutes of dogs of around 2 metres tall. The statues are modeled after the Phu Quoc dog, which are known for their intelligence, while statutes of puppies will feature bobbing heads.
The 720 m-long flower street will be decorated with different flowers following three sub-themes of the spring in the city, integration and development and looking forward to the future.
This is the 15th version of the flower street to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year in the city.-VNA
