Hanoi (VNA) - HCM City posted export revenue of more than 3.38 billion USD in May, an increase of 10 percent against April, the city’s Customs Department has said.

Exports have therefore brought in more than 16.96 billion USD this year, a year-on-year rise of 6.3 percent. Export value excluding crude oil was 16.26 billion USD, up 8.8 percent year-on-year.

China remained the city’s largest export market in the first five months, purchasing more than 3.97 billion USD worth of goods, up 38.5 percent year-on-year.

Following was the US, with 2.54 billion USD, up 1.4 percent.

The US, however, was Vietnam’s largest export market in the period, with revenue of 24.6 billion USD, an increase of 8.2 percent year-on-year./.
