Heritage land developing tourism following Party leader’s guidance

General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, a steadfast and exemplary leader, has passed away, leaving profound sorrow for the Party, the military, and the nation. As General Secretary, he visited and worked with Ninh Binh province twice, providing suggestions and guidance for developing tourism and services, making tourism a key economic sector for the locality.

For nearly 20 years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Du has had the honor of rowing the boat for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong twice during his visits to the Trang An Landscape Complex.

During his visits and working sessions in Ninh Binh, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong recognised that Ninh Binh has a mix of plains, mountains, and coastal areas, making it suitable for developing agriculture, services, and industry.

He emphasised that tourism is a smokeless industry and should be the direction for Ninh Binh’s industrialisation.

With the General Secretary’s vision and guidance, Ninh Binh province has implemented numerous mechanisms and policies to gradually make tourism a leading economic sector.

Ten years after General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trọng's visit and working session in Ninh Binh, the province's tourism is steadily growing.
