With the support of local government of Caracas city, they had ameeting with 40 Venezuelan businesses, mostly operating in apparel,construction, environment, tourism and food industries.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen HuuTin and Ambassador to Venezuela Ngo Tien Dung pointed to potential formutual development by boosting bilateral affiliation in economics, tradeand investment.

HCM City representatives andenterprises introduced the development prospects of industries in theircity to their potential partners.

The Venezuelanside was interested in partnerships in the construction of socialhousings, apparel production and food product distribution.

They also showed interests in other products made by Vietnam such as paper, household appliances and farm produce.

The two sides pledged to continue exchanging information related tospecific areas as well as updated regulations, policy and law of eachcountry so as to enable them to realise their further cooperationagreements.-VNA
