The programme is a combination of music, lights and images of Hanoi's destinations, along with the screening of the short film "Colourful Hanoi", music and visual art "Charming Hanoi", visual art Love Hanoi, musical and art performance "Get on Hanoi 2022". In particular, the event also introduces low-hanging hot air balloons on Dinh Tien Hoang Street, with ten one-level hot air balloons (10m high) and one seven-level hot air balloon (22m high). The programme will broadcast online through digital platforms: YouTube, the municipal Department of Tourism’s fanpage and the “Get on Hanoi” fanpage. “Get on Hanoi 2022” is expected to help the capital city promote its image as a safe, friendly and attractive destination to domestic and foreign visitors. The hot air balloon festival in Hanoi will sell tickets from March 26. Admission is 60,000 VND per person. Children under 1.1 m are free. Tickets for flights are 150,000 VND for children and 300,000 VND for adults. Young couple Trung Kien and Mai Anh said that this is an opportunity for them to see and experience the unique new tourism product of the capital city. The body of the balloon is 22-25m high, the largest diameter is about 17-18m. The flying capacity of the balloon is more than 500kg, so it can carry 3 adults or 4-5 children, excluding the pilot. Another 20 hot air balloons used in the event are class 1 (AX-1) balloons, 10-12m high, usually used for festivals.
