The Hong Kong-Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) in Vietnam (HSBC Vietnam) has coordinated with the Cat Tien National Park to implement a three-year reforestation project in the park.
The project, which has a total investment of 900 million VND sourced from HSBC’s sustainable development fund, is part of a programme called “Climate Camp” jointly launched by HSBC and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in Vietnam early this year.
The project will plant 10,000 green trees on 22.5 ha in the Cat Tien National Park . To date, 3,300 trees have been planted.
HSBC has also encouraged its clients to join hands in the project./.
