Hanoi (VNA) –
Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Van Suu had a working session with visiting Deputy Minister of State at the Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Bezetei Akos on March 22 to exchange ideas about getting a space for a cultural and community centre in the Vietnamese capital.

Akos said the Hungarian side is very interested in the place that Hanoi authorities had recommended to the Hungarian Embassy in Vietnam.

The country hopes this issue will be concretised by an official document.

Suu said he will report to the Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as relevant departments to compose a reply text to Hungarian leaders in the earliest time.

During the function, the two sides also highlighted the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Hungary.

The host said Hanoi hopes to receive more support from Hungary as the capital is in the process of urbanisation with the expansion of its areas over the past 10 years.-VNA
