Indian warship docks at Da Nang

During their stay the crew will meet with the leaders of Da Nang’s People’s Committee, visit famous natural beauty spots and heritage sites in Hue and Hoi An, and will play a friendly volleyball match with soldiers of Navy High Command Zone 3.

The visit by the Indian training vessel, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Nshyam Sundar, marks the 20th anniversary of ASEAN-India relations and the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-India relations.

Vietnam and India have intensified their cooperation in various fields, particularly defence and security. They held a defence dialogue in New Delhi last September.-VNA
