Hanoi (VNA) - Atleast 60 people are feared to have been buried by a landslide at an illegalgold mine in Sulawesi island of Indonesia.
According to spokesman of the National Agency for Disaster Management ofIndonesia Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, the accident occurred in the Bolaang Mongondowarea of North Sulawesi province.
Dozens of people were mining for gold when beams and supportboards broke suddenly, he said.
The accident claimed at least one live. Rescuers have to daterescued 13 people.
The search and rescue of missing victims are implemented urgently.-VNA
