Jakarta (VNA) – At least 47 people were killed in an explosion andfire at a fireworks factory near Indonesia’s on October 26.

The explosion which occurred at an industrial complex in Tangerang district, westof Jakarta also left dozens of others injured, according to local police.

The number of missing has yet to confirm.
All victims are workers of the factory.It was operational only two months ago, employing over 100 workers.

Media images of the factory’s warehouse showed that many parts of the fireworkestablishment were collapsed. According to witnesses, there were two explosions.

Firefighting and evacuation are underway. Police are investigating thecause.-VNA
