Hanoi (VNA) - The 3rd International Mining and Minerals Recovery Exhibition and Conference (Mining Vietnam 2016) will be held from March 29-31 at the International Centre for Exhibition in Hanoi, heard a press conference on March 16.

The biennial event will be organised by the Singapore Exhibition Services and the VCCI Exhibition Services Company.

According to the organising board, 161 companies from 22 countries and territories worldwide have registered to take part in the event, including those from the UK, Czech Republic, Germany, Singapore and Australia.

They will display the latest technological products in the mining industry, especially equipment and devices to enhance the performance of quarry and underground mining.

Organised over an area of 4,000 square metres, Mining Vietnam 2016 is expected to attract about 4,000 visitors and 70 business delegations.

Within the framework of the event, conferences on techniques to improve productivity and efficiency in mineral exploitation will also be held.-VNA
