Japan funds education, healthcare projects

The Japanese Embassy in Hanoi on February 20 signed a deal worth 325,080 USD in non-refundable aid for three projects in Vietnam.
The Japanese Embassy in Hanoi on February 20 signed a deal worth 325,080 USD in non-refundable aid for three projects in Vietnam.

One of the projects will provide 120,700 USD in healthcare funding for the Tuyet Thai Elderly Care Centre in Hanoi's Dong Anh district.

The other beneficiaries will be new primary schools in Bac Kan province and Ha Nam province in the north.

Minister-Counsellor of the Japanese Embassy Hideo Suzuki said that the projects would improve education and healthcare facilities in those localities.-VNA
