Japan funds primary schools in Lang Son

The Japanese Government will provide more than 206,000 USD in non-refundable aid to fund the construction of two primary schools in poor communes of northern mountainous Lang Son province.
The Japanese Government will provide more than 206,000 USD in non-refundable aid to fund the construction of two primary schools in poor communes of northern mountainous Lang Son province.

Contracts to the effect were signed in Hanoi on Dec. 12 by Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Yasuaki Tanazaki and Chairpersons of the People’s Committees of Xuan Le and Minh Son communes Hoang Van Chuyen and Ma Thi Ly, respectively.

Under the contracts, the sum will be used to build two two-storey buildings, each with eight classrooms, in Xuan Le commune of Loc Binh district and Minh Son commune of Huu Lung district.

The ambassador said he hoped the aid would improve studying conditions for local students and contribute to socio-economic development in Lang Son province./.
