Teruhiko Mashiko, a parliamentarian from the Japan-Vietnam FriendshipParliamentarians Federation and former Deputy Minister for Economy,Trade and Industry in Japan, was speaking at a reception given by VuXuan Hong, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations(VUFO) in Hanoi on October 11.

Hong expressed histhanks to the Japanese parliamentary delegation for visiting Vietnam onthe 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

Hestated that the VUFO will continue to promote the friendly relationshipbetween the two peoples to match Vietnam and Japan’s strategicpartnership./.
