Japanese film week in Da Nang to screen 11 movies

Eleven Japanese films will be screened at the Le Do Cinema in Da Nang from January 5-7 and 13-14 as part of an annual cultural exchange programme between Japan and the central city.

Da Nang (VNA) - Eleven Japanesefilms will be screened at the Le Do Cinema in Da Nang City from January 5-7 and13-14 as part of an annual cultural exchange programme between Japan and thecentral city. 

The Vietnam -Japan Culture Exchange Centresaid the films, produced between 2015 and 2017, will be screened for free.

The Japanese film week will screen SweetBean, Her Love Boils Bathwater, Long Excuse, Rudolf the Black Cat, Reflection,Tora-san of Goto, Tsukiji Wonderland, Daytime Shooting Star, ReLIFE, SurvivalFamily, Hannouji Hotel in English with Vietnamese subtitles.

More than 400,000 Japanese tourists, thesecond largest foreign group, visited Da Nang in 2016.

Direct flights have been launched between DaNang, Osaka and Narita to boost tourism between destinations in central Vietnamand Japan. - VNA
