Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s Sanna Khanh Hoa crushed Vientiane Capital ofLaos 9-2 at the AFF Futsal Club Championship in Bangkok on July 4.

Vietnam quickly scored three goals thanks to Quoc Bao in the first minute, EBan in the third minute and Nguyen Nho in the fourth minute.

After the Lao team narrowed the gap to 1-3 in the 12th minute, Khac Chi scoredthe fourth goal for Khanh Hoa just seven minutes later.

In the second half, the Vietnamese team had five more goals to end the match at9-2.

Earlier, Khanh Hoa drew 1-1 with Melaka United in their first match,while Capital lost to East Coast Heat of Australia 3-4.

With this win, Khanh Hoa temporarily took the lead of Group B.

On July 5, they will face East Coast Heat to decide the ticket to the event’ssemi-finals.

Khanh Hoa beat the Australian team 3-1 in the same event held two years ago.“We are determined to enter the semi-finals. We will make every effort in thecoming match,” said Hai.-VNA

Vietnam drawn with hosts Thailand at ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026

The ASEAN Futsal Championship 2026 is scheduled to take place from April 5 to 11 at the Nonthaburi Provincial Gymnasium in Thailand. The group stage matches will run from April 5 to 7, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals on April 9. The final is set for April 11.

Tam Chuc complex in Ninh Binh granted special national relic status

Ninh Binh will work closely with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, experts, businesses and local communities to ensure sustainable preservation and restoration of the complex. The province also plans to gradually prepare a nomination dossier for “Tam Chuc Complex – Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve” to seek UNESCO World Heritage recognition.
