Korean electricity tech to be introduced at HCM City fair

Smart electricity and green power technology from the Republic of Korea (RoK) will be introduced at the Vietnam ETE and Enertec Expo 2019 from July 17-20 in Ho Chi Minh City.

HCM City (VNA) - 
Smartelectricity and green power technology from the Republic of Korea (RoK) will beintroduced at the Vietnam ETE and Enertec Expo 2019 from July 17-20 in Ho Chi MinhCity.

The ETE exhibition isin its 12th year in Vietnam, and the 9th Enertec Expo will showcase advancedtechnologies for the power industry.

The exhibition willfeature 400 domestic and international enterprises from various countries suchas Japan, the RoK, China, Italy, Turkey, Russia and Singapore with 550 booths.

Local brands includeEVN HCMC, Gelex, ABB, LS Vina, Panasonic, Philips, Long Giang and HENGSVietnam.

This year, the RoKwill be the special guest with the Korea Smart Electric and Energy Week (KOSEF)showcasing its latest achievements in electricity.

In addition, theKorea Electrical Manufacturers Association (KOEMA) and Korea ElectricPower Corporation (KEPCO) will host workshops on new energy creation, smartelectric devices, energy saving and green power.

During the fair, aninternational conference will be held to find solutions for energy savingin Vietnam.

The annual ETE andEnertec Expo acts as a bridge between local and international enterprises,gathers experts to discuss strategies in electric technology and helpsbusinesses attract investment and seek partners.

It is organised bythe HCM City Centre for Support Industries Development and CIS VietnamAdvertising and Exhibition JSC, with support from the Ministry of Industry andTrade.

Vietnam steps up trade, investment promotion at China-ASEAN Expo

According to the CAEXPO Secretariat, Vietnam will once again lease an entire exhibition area of about 3,000sq.m, featuring 170 booths, making it one of the ASEAN countries with the largest exhibition spaces at this year’s event. Six groups of products, services proposed at Vietnam International Financial Centre

Deputy Minister of Finance Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said the products and services include investment funds and asset management, asset-backed digital assets, international carbon credits, commodity trading and derivatives infrastructure linked to trade and supply-chain financing, financial technology, and bonds issued at the centre. As these groups are at different stages of readiness, they will be rolled out in phases rather than simultaneously.
