The Korean Film Festival 2012 will take place in Da Nang and Hanoi to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
The Korean Film Festival 2012, themed “Connecting Souls”, is held by the Centre of Korean Culture (the RoK Embassy) in co-ordination with Megastar Company. The festival is held in the central city of Da Nang on December 3-4 and Hanoi on December 6-8.
The films to be screened at this festival include “As one”, “Punch”, “A werewolf boy”, “Jumbagi”, and “Masquerade”.
The historical film “Masquerade” is chosen to be screened at the opening ceremonies in Da Nang and Hanoi .
During the festival, director Choo Chang-min and producer Won Dong Yeon of “Masquerade” will have a talk with Vietnamese colleagues to share experiences in developing the film industry in each country.
Besides, within the scope of the festival, the Centre of Korean Culture will invite disadvantaged children from care homes in Hanoi to enjoy the new animated film “Jumbagi”.-VNA
