
The Vietnamese delegation had meetings with Jesus Farias, Member of the Venezuelan Constituent Assembly and Vice President in chargeof economic affairs of theruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) JesusFarias; and Venezuelan Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tatiana Puigh.
Quan recalled the solidarity and support that the progressive forcesand people of Venezuela gave to Vietnam in the struggle for reunificationin the past and the renewal cause at present.
The CommunistParty of Vietnam (CPV) is delighted at the achievements that the PSUVhas obtained over the past time, especially the success of its 5th NationalCongress, Quan said.
He expressedthe belief that the Venezuelan party will successfullyimplement the congress’s resolution, building Venezuela into a prosperous countryas the teachings of leader Hugo Chávez.
This is an important premise for Vietnam and Venezuela to expand all-aroundcooperation, including cooperation between their localities, Quan stressed.
Duringthe visit, the delegation also had meetings with and inked cooperation agreementswith organisations and businesses of the South American nation.
On the occasion, the delegation offered flowers in tribute toPresident Ho Chi Minh at his statue in Bolivar Avenue, Caracas./.
