LamDong (VNA) – The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong will upgrade20 medical stations and build three new ones in disadvantaged areas with atotal investment of 20.5 billion VND (880,000 USD).
The three new clinics will be constructed in Lieng Sronh commune of Dam Rongdistrict, and Da Ploa and Da Ton communes of Da Huoai district, which are hometo many ethnic minorities.
Constructionon the new clinics, costing a total of 10.5 billion VND (462,000 USD), isscheduled to start in 2018 and complete in 2020.
Meanwhile, the 20 to-be-upgraded medical stations are located in Da Latand Bao Loc cities, and Don Duong, Duc Trong, Di Linh, Bao Lam and Da Huoaidistricts.
After the upgrade, the centres are expected to meet national standards forcommunal clinics, contributing to improving local health care services.-VNA
