Jakarta (VNA) - Six people were killed and seven others injured after landslides and flash floods hit Indonesia's North Sumatra province on November 23.
According to the head of the operational unit of the provincial search and rescue office, the landslides struck Padang Lawas regency at 1:00 a.m. (local time), resulting in four deaths and four injuries.
Flash floods hit South Tapanuli regency at 1:30 a.m. the same day, killing two residents and injuring three others.
Search and rescue work is underway.
