More than 30 activities featuring local culture will take place during the second Culture – Sports – Tourism festival in the northern province of Lang Son, heard a press briefing on March 5.

LangSon (VNA) – More than 30 activities featuring local culture will takeplace during the second Culture – Sports – Tourism festival in the northernprovince of Lang Son, heard a press briefing on March 5.

Theyinclude a festival featuring “Then” singing and Dan Tinh (gourd lute, astringed musical instrument played by Tay people), a tourism skillcompetition, a photo exhibition, boat racing and sport exchange between LangSon city and Nanning, China’s Guangxi province.

Accordingto Nguyen Phuc Ha, Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports andTourism, the festival’s organising board will strengthen supervision during theweek to ensure a safe atmosphere for visitors.

Thefestival will take place across 10 districts in Lang Son province from March8-14.-VNA
