Chairman of the Lao National Assembly’s Committee for Cultural and Social Affairs, Prof Dr Phonethep Pholsena, responded that his visit aims to boost the friendship and cooperation between the two legislatures.
He reported that his delegation have held working sessions with several bodies of the Vietnamese National Assembly to exchange experience in law making and inspection of the implementation of laws regarding social affairs, culture, education and science-technology.
The two sides also hailed the traditionally friendly ties of the two countries.-VNA
