Lao-funded Ho Chi Minh memorial house inaugurated in Nghe An

The Government of Laos hosted a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a memorial house dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh in the late President’s home province of Nghe An on September 29.

Nghe An (VNA) - The Governmentof Laos hosted a ceremony to inaugurate and hand over a memorial house dedicatedto President Ho Chi Minh in the late President’s home province of Nghe An onSeptember 29.

The Lao Government was represented atthe ceremony by Party Central Committee’s Secretary and Deputy Minister ofNational Defence Vilay Lakhamphong.

The two-storey facility, located in theKim Lien relic site, Nam Dan district, has four exhibition spaces, featuringthe solidarity and the traditional friendship between the two Parties, States, armiesand people of Vietnam and Laos; the remembrance of late Presidents Ho Chi Minhand Kaysone Phomvihane; and Lao culture.

During the event, the Lao DeputyMinister presented the Bravery Order, third class, to the Company of EconomicCooperation of Military Region 4 for its contribution to building thePresident Ho Chi Minh memorial house.-VNA

Quang Tri and Laos’ Khammouane province agreed to strictly adhere to legal documents on border management, maintain delegation exchanges at all levels, increase cooperation in crime prevention and control, search and rescue, and run public awareness campaigns to encourage border residents to comply with border and border gate management regulations.

Over 1.2 million students begin national high school graduation exam

Under the current examination format, candidates are required to complete the mandatory Literature and Mathematics tests, along with a combined test comprising two subjects selected from a range of options, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Foreign Languages, History, Geography, Technology-Industry, Technology-Agriculture, and Economics-Law. Students may also choose to take a foreign language different from the one studied at school.
