Lao localities hope to foster ties with Vietnam
Authorities of northern provinces of Laos have said that they
hope to further strengthen all-round cooperation with Vietnamese
localities for a more sustainable development of the traditional
friendship and special solidarity between the two countries.

The provinces’ leaders expressed their wish while receiving Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Manh Hung who made a working visit to Lao northern provinces of Bo Keo, Luang Namtha and Oudomsay from May 20 to 23.
The Governors of Bokeo, Luang Namtha and Oudomsay said the assistance provided by the Party, State and people of Vietnam has helped the provinces develop infrastructure and diversify economic activities, thus improving the living conditions of local people.
Ambassador Hung affirmed that he will do his best in his capacity to further promote relations between Vietnam and Laos in general and northern provinces of Laos in particular.-VNA
