border defence for Lao military officers concluded in the northwestern
province of Dien Bien on October 18.
The Border
Guard Command of Dien Bien province, the course’s organizer, presented
graduation certificate to 55 trainees, who are officers of the Military
Commands of Phongsaly and Udomxay provinces of Laos .
The course provided the Lao officers with basic and up-to-date knowledge
in border management and defence as well as Vietnam ’s experience in
dealing with possible problems arising in border areas.-VNA
