In a message dated October 31, the Lao PM wrote, “On behalf of the Lao government and my own behalf, I would like to offer deep sympathy to the fraternal party, government and people of Vietnam, and through you, to officials of the localities affected by the storm and the families of victims. “
PM Thongsing Thammavong also expressed his belief that under the direction of the Vietnamese party and government, and with the tradition of compassion of the Vietnamese people, the affected localities will overcome the difficulties and help local people’s life go back to normal.-VNA
