Designed to look like aCentral Highlands Rong house, the church covers an area of more than10,000 square metres in the centre of Gia Nghia commune, and cost nearly10 billion VND, which was donated by followers.
For25 years, thousands of followers in Gia Nghia commune and neighbouringareas frequented the old church where the new one now stands.
The original church was built with iron sheets and planks, and washard to access during the rainy season. Therefore, in 2007 the Dak Nongprovincial People’s Committee licensed Gia Nghia parish to re-build it.-VNA
