Leaders pay tribute to Uncle Ho on National Day

A delegation of Party, State, Government, National Assembly and Vietnam Fatherland Front leaders on August 30 paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum of the occasion of Vietnam’s National Day.

A delegation of Party, State, Government, National Assembly and Vietnam Fatherland Front leaders has paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum of the occasion of Vietnam’s National Day (Sept. 2).

Among those present at the function were General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Huynh Dam.

Also on hand was former Party General Secretaries Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh, former President Tran Duc Luong and former NA Chairman Nguyen Van An, among others.

Later on the day, the delegation laid a wreath at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs in Hanoi.

Also on August 30, delegations from the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Hanoi Party’s Committee and People’s Committee paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and laid wreaths at the Monument.-VNA
