The Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (Lefaso) will run a leather and footwear promotion conference focusing on improving business and export capability for enterprises on March 15 in HCM City.

Hanoi (VNA) - TheVietnam Leather and FootwearAssociation (Lefaso) will run a leather and footwear promotion conferencefocusing on improving business and export capability for enterprises on March 15in HCM City.

About 300 firms manufacturing footwear andmaterials for the industry inside and outside Vietnam are expected to attendthe conference

The enterprises are expected to discussvarious problems in the industry, including planning, the investmentenvironment and impact of free trade agreements.

They will also touch on the state of theindustry in Vietnam in the context of integration, market demand and technicalrequirements for the industry to benefit from free trade deals.

Lefaso hopes the conference will bringbenefits to local and foreign enterprises, promote cooperation and attractinvestment.-VNA
