Library presented to school in rural area

The Viet-Korea Cooperation Centre (VKCC) on July 21 presented a library worth over 130 million VND to My Hung secondary school in Hanoi’s outlying Thanh Oai district.
The Viet-Korea Cooperation Centre (VKCC) on July 21 presented a libraryworth over 130 million VND to My Hung secondary school in Hanoi’soutlying Thanh Oai district.

Being equipped with about 2,000 books of all kinds, management softwaresystem, computers and furniture, the library is the second under VKCC’sprogramme which will help teachers and pupils at schools indisadvantaged rural area widen their knowledge.

The first library worth over 5,000 USD was donated to Do Dong secondary school in early 2010.

VKCC operates under Global Civic Sharing (GCS), a non-profit,development NGO founded in 1998 and supported by the Republic of Korea./.

Excavation for war remains begins in Quang Ngai

Ministry details early gains in IP violation crackdown

Police across the country have initiated criminal proceedings in 56 cases, involving 98 suspects, for violations of copyright and related rights, industrial property offences, and the production and sale of counterfeit goods. Japan remained the top destination, taking in 24,030 workers, including 10,750 women. Taiwan (China) followed with 21,104 workers, 6,752 of them women. The Republic of Korea (RoK) received 3,217, China 1,498, Singapore 704, Greece 441 and Russia 344.
