L’Oreal Vietnam on Feb. 1 said it will continue to provide scholarships to female Vietnamese scientists under the UNESCO-L'Oreal International Fellowships Programme for Young Women in Life Sciences in 2012.
The programme started in Vietnam in 2009. It aims to honour female scientists who made contributions to scientific development in Vietnam .
Launched in 1998, the UNESCO-L’Oréal International Fellowships are designed to identify and reward fifteen deserving, committed and talented young women scientists, from all over the world, active in the field of life sciences.
This year, the programme will select three best projects for the awards, with each worth 200 million VND.
Deadline for submitting projects will be available until May 31, 2012./.
