Kuala Lumpur (VNA) – Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and Brunei's Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah held a bilateral meeting in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administration centre, on March 5.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 22nd Malaysia-Negara Brunei Darussalam Annual Leaders Consultation - the highest platform for discussion between the two countries, according to a joint statement issued after the event.
During the event, both host and guest reaffirmed mutual defence ties between the two countries.
They also vowed to maintain regular exchanges of visits, meetings, training couses and military drills.-VNA
