Malaysian group opens Hanoi park

Chairman of the HanoiPeople’s Committee Nguyen The Thao said the 322-ha Yen So is the biggestand most beautiful park in the southern area of the city, contributinggreatly to meeting local people’s demand for entertainment andrelaxation. He promised to create the best possible conditions forGamuda to carry out the next phase of its project in Hoang Mai district.

The group last year dredged five lakes atYen So Park and handed over to Hanoi authorities a waste watertreatment facility at the site.

DirectorGeneral of Gamuda Land Vietnam, Cheong Ho Kuan, said the company, anaffiliate of the Gamuda Malaysia Group, will go on to build two urbanareas and a trade centre in Yen So.-VNA
