Man arrested for infringing State, citizens’ interests
The Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security on May 26
arrested a man named Truong Duy Nhat on the charge of “abusing rights
to democracy and freedom to infringe the interests of the State, the
legitimate rights and interests of organisations and citizens”.

An urgent check of Nhat’s house at 25 Tong Phuoc Pho street , Hoa Cuong Bac ward, Hai Chau district, the central city of Da Nang was also carried out on the day with the coordination of the Da Nang municipal police.
The search of Nhat’s house and his arrest were pursuant to Article 258 of the Penal Code of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Relevant agencies are conducting further investigation on the case.-VNA
