Hanoi (VNA) – Lilama 69-1 JSC, a subsidiary of the Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation – JSC, has completed a project to manufacture seven sets of fired heaters in a contract with Kirchner Italia S.p.A of Italy to export to Uzbekistan.
The sets weigh more than 2,000 tonnes.
The project offered a chance for Lilama 69-1 to conquer foreign markets, affirming its position in manufacturing equipment for global refinery projects.
The company delivered the first 1,400 tonnes of fired heaters to Uzbekistan in August and the second batch with a weight of 657 tonnes in September.
The last batch of a package, weighing 700 tonnes, was shipped to the country in November.
It is the third order from Kirchner Italia S.p.A for the Vietnamese company. Earlier, it shipped four fired heater sets to projects in Saudi Arabia and Iraq in 2015 and 2016.
So far, many fabrication products by Lilama 69-1 such as air pre-heaters, steel structures, technology pipes, tanks and vessels have reached many foreign countries, including India, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, China, Indonesia, Chile and Morocco.-VNA
