Maps, documents and publications on the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos are on display at Tay Ninh city in the southern province of Tay Ninh.

Tay Ninh (VNA) – Maps, documents and publications on the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos are on display at Tay Ninh city in the southern province of Tay Ninh.

The exhibition, opened on May 17 is entitled “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa: Historical and legal evidence” and jointly organised by the Ministry of Information and Communication and the provincial People’s Committee.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hong said the exhibition gives the Vietnamese people and foreigners a better understanding on the history of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa as well as Vietnam’s ownership of the two archipelagos.

It also hopes to raise patriotism and the sense of responsibility of national protection among the Vietnamese, he added.

All of the exhibits will be given to the locality. The exhibition runs until May 21.-VNA

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors.
