Around 2,500 artists and people will attend a mass procession to celebrate the 70 th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the 70th National Day (September 2), announced the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on July 21.
The procession will be preceded by a military march and pass through Hung Vuong Boulevard and the flag pole at the President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum in Hanoi.
It will aim to promote great national unity and pride as well as the socio-economic achievements of social classes including workers, farmers, armed forces and businesses.
Vietnam’s culture, cultural identities of several outstanding ethnic groups representing the country’s 54 ethnic communities, and UNESCO-recognised world cultural heritage sites will also be highlighted during the procession.
On the occasion, the ministry will hold placard exhibitions in Hai Phong city and Tuyen Quang and Gia Lai provinces.-VNA
