The Vietnamese Embassies in Malaysia, India and Russia have hosted meetings to review the 85 glorious years of building and developing the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).
The birth of the CPV on February 3, 1930 constitutes an extremely important historical event and a significant turning-point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution and marking a brilliant milestone in the country’s development path.
Under the Party’s leadership, the Vietnamese people successfully carried out the August Revolution in 1945 and the 1975 Spring Offensive, entering a new chapter of development, Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Pham Cao Phong spoke at the February 1 meeting.
He called for greater efforts to promote traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia.
Since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties in 1972 and strategic partnership in 2007, Vietnam and India have enjoyed deeper and wider cooperation in all fields, creating a basis for their stronger politic ties in the future, Ambassador Ton Sinh Thanh said at the January 31 celebration.
Addressing the January 30 meeting in Russia , Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Son said with love for peace, the CPV is willing to befriend and establish relationship with the ruling parties across the world.
During the meetings, Party members also heard about the 2015 tasks, including preparations for the 12th National Party Congress.-VNA
