Microsoft Vietnam gets new CEO

Microsoft Vietnam has officially announced it was appointing Aung San Maung from Myanmar as its new acting CEO in Vietnam.

Hanoi (VNA) - Microsoft Vietnam has officially announced it was appointing Aung San Maung from Myanmar as its new acting CEO in Vietnam, a position which was held by Vu Minh Tri for seven years.

Maung would continue to implement strategies and business activities as well as development initiatives of Microsoft in Vietnam.

Microsoft entered the Vietnamese market in 1996. Under Tri’s management, the company has strongly supported the Government, businesses and individuals, especially building and enhancing local partner system for an advanced information and technology, thus contributing to socio-economic development. — VNA
