More Covid-19 cases reported in Vietnam

The Ministry of Health reported six more Covid-19 cases on March 12, raising the total in the country to 44.
 

A 25-year-old tour guide residing in Hanoi’s Cau Giay district was confirmed the 39th patient.

The man had close contact with the 24th COVID-19 patient, who was tested positive for the virus in northern Quang Ninh province, while guiding a group of foreign tourists on a tour to Ninh Binh province on March 4.

Five other are from the central Binh Thuan province.

They include two males and one female who had close contact with the 34th patient, a female directly contacting with the 38th patient and a man having contact with the 37th patient.

By 18:00 March 12, Vietnam reported 44 covid-19 patients, 16 were cured and discharged from hospital.
