Hanoi(VNA) – Deputies at the 14th National Assembly discussed a resolution onspecial mechanisms and policies for Ho Chi Minh City’s development during theirNovember 20 sitting as part of the ongoing NA’s fourth session.

Lawmakers talked thenecessity and the time to apply pilot mechanisms and policies, as well asspecific policies in the management of land and investment, and financial,budget regulations.

Minister of FinanceDinh Tien Dung also provided further information and clarified some issuesraised by the deputies.

The same day, thedeputies listened to a report on adjustments of a draft law on amendments andsupplements to some articles of the Law on Credit Organisations beforeapproving the bill.

Meanwhile, they alsogave ideas on the draft law on measurement and map, focusing on the necessityof the law, format and explanation of words used in the document, as well asmajor principles in measurement and mapping activities.

Along with Statepolicies on the activities, they also touched upon issues related toresponsibility of different ministries in the field, the operation ofmeasurement infrastructure and geographical database of the nation.

Minister of NaturalResources and Environment Tran Hong Ha also answered some questions of thedeputies related to the bill.

As scheduled, onNovember 21, the deputies will have a plenary session to discuss draft revisedLaw on Anti-Corruption. They will cast their vote on the adoption of a draftlaw on adjustments and supplements to some articles of the Law on OverseasRepresentative Missions of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, a resolution onchanging roadmap for the implementation of Resolution 88/2014/QH 13 on reformingthe curriculum and textbook for general education, and the revised Law onFisheries.-VNA
