Hanoi (VNA) – National Assembly deputies will discuss the ratification of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and related documents on November 5 morning as part of their ongoing sixth session.

The deputies debated in groups on the matter on November 2.

The same day, the deputies will listen to a report on the pilot implementation of Resolution No. 30/2016/QH14 on the issuance of e-visa for foreigners to enter Vietnam before discussing the extension of the measure.

In the afternoon, they will give ideas on a number of contents of the draft Law on Vietnam Coast Guard, which comprises of eight chapters and 48 articles.

They will focus on the use of weapons, supporting tools, explosives and professional technical vehicles and equipment; the scope of activities of Vietnam Coast Guard in Vietnamese waters; and the operational coordination of Vietnam Coast Guard.-VNA
