NA deputies vote on three laws, discuss two bills

Hanoi (VNA) –
The National Assembly is scheduled to vote on three revised laws and discuss two law projects at the ongoing 7th session on June 13.

In the morning, the lawmakers will vote to pass the revised Laws on Tax Management and Public Investment, and debate the amended Law on militia and self-defence forces.

The amendments of the Law on militia and self-defence forces aims to legalise the Party’s policy and the 2013 Constitution on the national protection, handle challenges during implementation, and ensure comprehensiveness with the revised Law on National Defence in 2018 and other competent laws.

The draft law includes eight chapters with 50 articles.

Minister of Defence Ngo Xuan Lich will clarify the NA deputies’ questions on the revised law.

Meanwhile, the Architecture Law and Securities Law project will be on top agenda in the afternoon.

The draft securities law focuses on responsibilities and relations between the State Audit of Vietnam with relevant agencies, and regulations on responsibilities of competent organisations and individuals for auditing activities.

Minister of Finance Dinh Tien Dung will explain some issues related to the law.-VNA
