NA discuss treaty, protocol on Vietnam-Laos border

A treaty supplementing the Border Delimitation Treaty between Vietnam and Laos regarding the revision of the starting point of the two countries’ border line was the focus of the NA’s session on June 6.

Hanoi (VNA) – A treaty supplementingthe Border Delimitation Treaty between Vietnam and Laos regarding the revisionof the starting point of the two countries’ border line was the focus of the NationalAssembly’s plenary session in Hanoi on June 6 morning. 

A protocol on the Vietnam-Laos border line andnational border markers was also tabled for discussion.

After listening to proposals and verificationreports on the approval of the two documents, the legislators gave theiropinions on the matters.

During the afternoon session, the NationalAssembly mulled over the draft amended Law on Forest Protection and Developmentand the daft Law on the Guard Force.

The legislators are scheduled to securitize thedraft resolution on bad debt settlement of credit institutions and the draftlaw amending and supplementing a number of articles of the  Law on CreditInstitutions on June 7 morning. 

The draft amended Law on Forest Protection andDevelopment and the revised Law on Fishers will continue to be discussed ingroups in the afternoon session.-VNA
