NA Standing Committee convenes second session

The Standing Committee of the 13th National Assembly convened its second session in Hanoi on September 26.

Addressingthe opening ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung saidthe second session of the 13th NA Standing Committee has the key task ofpreparation for the second session of the 13th legislature.

Atthis session, the NA Standing Committee will make recommendations toseven bills: the cryptography law, advertising law, the law on pricemanagement, the law on legal dissemination and education, the law onjudicial verification, the law on tertiary education, and the law onprevention and control of harmful effects of tobacco.

The committee will give opinions on the law and ordinance making programme of the 13th National Assembly.

Itwill also contribute opinions to Government reports on implementationof socio-economic development plan and State budget estimates for 2011,orientations, tasks and socio-economic development plans and statebudget estimates and allocations for 2012, the 2011-2015 socio-economicdevelopment plan, the 2011-2015 national target programme and the use ofGovernment bonds from now until 2015, among other issues./.
