NA Standing committee to convene 30th session on Jan 10

The 30th session of the 14th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will be held on January 10 in Hanoi, said a statement of the NA Office.

Hanoi (VNA) – The 30th session of the 14th NationalAssembly (NA) Standing Committee will be held on January 10 in Hanoi, said astatement of the NA Office.

NAChairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and NA Vice Chairpersons will preside overdiscussions at the one-day session.

Withinthe framework of the agenda, members of the committee will give ideas on anumber of issues ofthe draft revised Law on Execution of Criminal Judgments, considerand decide the list of members of the national council for judge selection andsupervision.

Theywill define the adjustment of administrative borders of two communes in HongNgu district of the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap, and the establishmentof Thuong Thoi town of Hong Ngu district.

Themerge of administrative units at the communal level as well as the formation ofsix wards in Chi Linh district and Chi Linh city of the northern Hai Duongprovince are also included in the agenda of the session.-VNA

The Vietnamese Embassy in Israel recommended that Vietnamese nationals regularly follow alerts and instructions issued by the Israeli Home Front Command; install and use the official Home Front Command warning application; and immediately move to a safe room or shelter when air raid sirens sound.
